Freedom of Religion is a fundamental human right and must be upheld by every constitution. The 1999 constitution of the Federal republic of Nigeria must be amended as part of the restructuring process and must reflect the secularity and plurality of the Nation. No religion should be offered any special place in the constitution. Just like religious pilgrimages, any religious practice must be privately funded by its adherents.
