Earlier this week we coordinated the search and rescue of a 20m fishing vessel reported missing approx. 550km off the coast of Mooloolaba, QLD. We tasked our Challenger Jet to search for the vessel, which was located with all 6 people on board safe and well. The boat was adrift in heavy weather and had lost all forms of communication. Our Challenger dropped a satellite phone and coordinated the rendezvous of an assisting vessel which arranged a tow back to Mooloolaba. A great outcome! | Australi
