Miller Genuine Draft has been my favorite beer since it became available in 1985 but now I can't find it and when I called the Miller distributor in our area I was told they don't even carry it. MGD 64, yes... but not the original MGD. So I have to mule it in from out of town whenever I feel like having it.

Apr 8, 2021 · I have heard other people report similar observations of the Miller brewing process. My question for those who are more knowledgeable than I of brewing science. IF MGD and High Life are the same beer, with pasteurization being the only difference, then why is MGD 4.7% abv and MHL 4.6 along with MGD having 144 calories vs 141 for MHL?

I know its rare to find on draft, I am looking to see if it is anywhere near me and so far nothing. I am interested even if I never go. I know its not craft but its nostaligic and simple. It is similar in the sense that it is chasing a rarity. Cheers

May 9, 2022 · This post was inspired by how much I've surprisingly enjoyed some classically trashy bad beers such as rolling rock and miller high life, plus genuine draft (much better kept in the can however). Easy to drink with nice light but present malts, with as few off notes as possible, and a cheap price tag is certainly appreciated.

Jul 10, 2012 · Literally every local bar has Michelob Golden Light on draft for low prices, and it is always available in off sale establishments as well. I re-established my enjoyment of Nordeast from Schell (Grainbelt) this trip, on draft at a lot of places where the only choices were Leinenkugel Amber and Nordeast besides the usual suspects. Cheers!
