The New York Yankees didn’t allow their unexpected doubleheader to mess up their pitching plans for the Baltimore Orioles.

The game began with Blue Jays starter Kevin Gausman appearing to have the Yankees' bats in check. After allowing only an Anthony Volpe double in the second inning, Gausman seemed to be in control.
