Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe warned that Alexander Isak will have to “earn the right” to be reintegrated into first-team training after reportedly pushing for a move to Liverpool this summer. Isak had avoided the transfer glare for much of the summer before Liverpool made an informal approach to sign the forward in the middle of July.
