A flood watch lasting until Monday at 4 p.m. goes into effect for areas in or near burn scars created by the Eaton, Franklin, Palisades, Hughes and Bridge fires, with the NWS noting a 10% to 20% chance of significant debris flows (see what areas are at risk here ).

Updating maps of Southern California show where wildfires, including the Palisades, Eaton and Hughes fires, are burning across Los Angeles.

Nine wildfires are currently burning across Southern California as of Friday morning, five of which ignited yesterday.

Twenty-eight people have died across the Los Angeles area. Officials have said the true death toll isn’t known as the fires continue to burn.
