Mumbai Police have arrested Vijay Das, also known as Bijoy Das and Mohammed Iliyas, for stabbing Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan at his Bandra residence. Das was apprehended on a train in Chhattisgarh following a manhunt.

Saif Ali Khan attack news: The Mumbai Police arrested a man, identified as Vijay Das, in Maharashtra's Thane district in the wee hours of Sunday for allegedly attacking actor Saif Ali Khan in his Bandra home.

Police officials have claimed that Das has confessed to the crime and claimed that he is the real perpetrator. Das was found sleeping under dried grass and leaves deep inside the bushes. Following his arrest, Das was transported to Mumbai for further investigation.
