It was a good night for the ping-pong balls but not to watch actual basketball outside of another strong Quentin Grimes’ outing.

Quentin Grimes looks like someone who can be a foundational piece for this organization. The Sixers acquired Grimes along with their own 2025 second-round pick -- currently slated to land in the top 37 picks this June -- from the Dallas Mavericks in exchange for veteran wing Caleb Martin (the Sixers later added a 2030 second-round pick to the deal after Martin's physical hit a snag;

The Hawks (31-34) have won three straight and four of five overall. Quentin Grimes scored 35 points, including 17 in the fourth quarter, for the 76ers (22-42), who have lost four of five. Dallas sent Grimes to Philadelphia in exchange for Caleb Martin last month.
