The snow will continue to accumulate through the late afternoon hours before the storm ultimately pushes out on Sunday night. One to 3 inches of snow accumulation is possible across southeastenr Massachusetts, including Cape Cod and the Islands. North of that, most parts will see just a coating to an 1 inch of snow.

Southern portions of Connecticut could see 2 to 4 inches of snow from a storm that will blow in late Saturday to early Sunday.

Those temperatures have prompted “Code Blue” status in Newark through next week, meaning outreach teams will be dispatched to get anyone sleeping on the street into shelter.
