Flash floods that swept through Texas over the Fourth of July weekend have left more than 100 people dead and dozens of others missing.

The number of dead from the devastating floods across central Texas surpassed 100 as dozens of people remain missing. In Kerr County, at least 84 people died, including 28 children, according to officials.

Kerr County officials held a press conference on Tuesday morning about the search and rescue efforts for dozens of people still missing after flash floods devastated Central Texas and killed more than 100 people.
