Angels Announce Historic Mike Trout News During Rays Game
During Wednesday’s series finale against the Tampa Bay Rays, Trout etched his name into the MLB record books, adding to his Hall-of-Fame caliber career. The Angels announced, “Mike Trout has hit his 398th career home run and his 200th at Angel Stadium. He is the first player in Major League history to have 200+ HR and 100+ SB at any one ballpark.”
Trout is currently listed as day-to-day per ESPN as the Halos will prepare for another game without their designated hitter.
Jo Adell hit a two-run homer, Yusei Kikuchi allowed four hits in six innings and the Los Angeles Angels beat the Tampa Bay Rays 5-1 on Monday night.
