Dominik Szoboszlai has warned Florian Wirtz ahead of the German's expected move to Liverpool. After weeks of speculation, it was recently reported that Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen had finally agreed on a package for Wirtz.

Florian Wirtz's parents stand to pocket approximately £8.6million in commission fees after orchestrating their son's British record £116m transfer to Liverpool. The 22-year-old German midfielder opted to entrust his mother Karin and father Hans with negotiating the blockbuster move rather than employing a traditional football agency.

Slot rotated the pair at the beginning of last season, before he moved Diaz centrally following an injury to Jota. It allowed Gakpo to excel in the left-wing role, finishing the season as Liverpool’s second-highest scorer with 18, while Diaz became Slot’s preferred No 9 option for a large portion of the campaign.
