Two Americans have died from apparent drownings in separate incidents on the same day at the same Bahamas resort, officials said on Sunday.

Two people have died from apparent drownings in unrelated incidents at a private Bahamas resort for passengers of a cruise company. The US citizens had been travelling with their families on separate cruises on Carnival Cruise Line’s ships Mardi Gras and Elation respectively.
