Assassin's Creed Shadows is the latest game in the series and the first to launch exclusively on the PS5 and Xbox Series generation of consoles. They skipped last-gen entirely, and a lot of you have already noticed just how much attention to detail has gone into every aspect of the game's world.

Ubisoft has released the first Assassin's Creed Shadows post-launch update today, 25th March 2025, and it is available to download now on PS5. You're looking at a 1.41GB download on PS5, which is considerably smaller than the patch for other consoles and PC.

Assassins Creed Shadows already pushes the PS5 Pro - but new upgrades, like ray-traced reflections in balanced mode, are still on the way.
