Comcast announced speed boosts for its home internet customers today, which is cool, but even cooler for mobile device lovers such as ourselves, select customers are getting a free line of Xfinity Mobile.

Comcast has upgraded Xfinity Internet speeds for more than 20 million customers at no additional cost. Xfinity Internet tiers, including NOW branded prepaid products, now feature 50 to 100 percent faster upload speeds, making it easier to upload large files and post videos quickly. Most tiers will also experience increased download speeds.

The free wireless phone offering is available to Xfinity subscribers with "Connect More" or faster Internet plans.
