Two days after the club announced an end to its longtime facial-hair ban, the Yankees confirmed that they no longer will play Frank Sinatra’s iconic version of “New York, New York” after losses at Yankee Stadium.

"I've always loved emulating some of the old crooners, like Bobby Darin and Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin," Marsden told the New York Post this week. "I always thought there were so many interesting stories of Frank Sinatra's life that could be played.

I just think there’s so many stories that could be told about that man – some of the really tortured and darker stories, and some uplifting ones as well,” said James Marsden.
