Monk joining his college teammate, De'Aaron Fox, in the starting lineup was long overdue but better late than never. Monk has played a huge role in Sacramento's seven-game win streak, but he will not be available during their attempt at an eighth straight win.

The Bucks were resting three-time All-Star forward Khris Middleton who dealt with an ankle injury that cost him the first 21 games of the season. Milwaukee was on the first night of a back-to-back and the plan was to have Middleton back for Wednesday’s game against the Orlando Magic.

The surging Sacramento Kings face the Milwaukee Bucks for the first time this season on Tuesday. Sacramento, enjoying a seven-game winning run, its longest of the season, will look to cap off an Eastern Conference road swing with another victory. Milwaukee took charge of this game early with a 21-2 run, led by double digits midway through the first quarter and it never got closer, with the Bucks winning 130-115. Damian Lillard added 24 points, Brook Lopez 21 and A.J. Green 16.

Antetokounmpo had 30 points, 13 assists and 11 rebounds as Milwaukee ended Sacramento's seven-game winning streak.
