King Charles lists favourite tracks from ‘exceptional’ Beyonce and Kylie Minogue on royal playlist - Charles showcases his top tracks on Apple Music

Charles’ playlist also highlights tracks from his many visits to the African continent, featuring South African artist Miriam Makeba singing one of the most famous pieces in Xhosa, known as the “tongue clicking” language.

Apple did not reveal the full playlist ahead of the show's release on Monday. In the past, Charles has cited songs by Three Degrees, Barbra Streisand, Edith Piaf, Leonard Cohen and Miriam Makeba as among his favorites.

From works by Jamaican reggae legend Bob Marley and Australian popstar Kylie Minogue to singer Raye, King Charles has revealed in a new broadcast some of the music which has brought him joy over the years and formed the soundtrack to his life.

Bob Marley, Kylie Minogue and Grace Jones are among artists from around the Commonwealth who have made it onto King Charles III's playlist in a collaboration with Apple Music.

King Charles III is sharing a personal playlist of music for Commonwealth Day, and the widely reported collection includes legendary artists Bob Marley, Kylie Minogue, and Grace Jones, alongside more contemporary talent such as Davido and Raye.
