The Carousel Horse Project, a year-long carousel horse restoration project, was officially unveiled on Sept. 9.

Through the work of local artists, the former staples of community carousels have been reimagined into vibrant works of art.

Retired carousel horses that were destined for the landfill are being given a second life thanks to a new project by the Broome County Arts Council.
