Note: The following story contains spoilers from "Invincible" Season 3 Episode 8. Conquest's arrival on "Invincible" was one of the most hotly anticipated moments from fans of the comic book series and it didn't disappoint.

If you have yet to watch Invincible’s season three finale, be forewarned that we’ll be diving into serious spoiler territory. Throughout the latest Amazon installment, Conquest delivers some familiar blows to Mark and his allies who were a part of the original Image comic.

It's worth noting that this didn't come entirely out of nowhere though. Angstrom Levy, the genius who kickstarted this war, appeared all the way back in the first episode of season 2. And like in the comics, his storyline, the build-up to The Invincible War, actually developed over a long period of time.
