With the Firefighters’ Memorial Bridge closed, all eyes are on Pittston’s new design, one that honors fallen heroes while reconnecting two communities.

DxDempsey of Scranton unveiled plans for the new Firefighters’ Memorial Bridge linking Pittston and West Pittston over the Susquehanna River in Luzerne County.

The Maryland Transportation Authority said it's making a few changes to the proposed design of the new Key Bridge, which will hopefully limit some of the environmental impact.

PennDOT has approved Luzerne County Council's firm selection for design engineering work on the closed Nanticoke/West Nanticoke Bridge, Council Chairman John Lombardo announced at Tuesday's meeting.

HOOD RIVER, Ore. (KATU) — The project to replace the Hood River Bridge is now in the design stage. The Hood River-White Salmon Bridge Authority approved the contract late in July 2025.

The bridge that goes over Como Avenue from the parking lots to the Coliseum has not been installed for the 2025 fair.
