The Apple TV app is coming to Android phones and tablets, right now. Apple has just announced the Android app, and it went live in the Google Play Store at 12 p.m. Pacific, Wednesday, Feb. 12. It means Android users can access Apple TV+ content through phones and tablets, in an app optimized for every screen.

Years after Apple started offering streaming services the ability to feature an integration with the Apple TV app, Netflix is supporting it.

It’s been five years since the Apple TV app was launched, and we’re now getting a version for Android devices — built from the ground up for native Android integration — in the Google Play store that will have the same Apple TV+ functionality as the Apple ecosystem version.
