A man died early Sunday morning following a shooting in Downtown Memphis, according to the Memphis Police Department (MPD). Police responded to the scene of the shooting just after 2 a.m. on Jan. 19, at the intersection of Linden Avenue and Pine Street.
A spokesperson for the department said that the 37-year veteran was found unresponsive in Downtown Memphis. He was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
