Cleveland Cavaliers guard Ty Jerome was fined $25,000 by the NBA on Monday for public criticism of officials following his team’s 133-129 overtime win over the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday.

The Blazes led by as much as 18 in the third quarter but couldn't hold on, ending their four-game winning streak.

Both players missed Friday night’s 121-102 victory at the Brooklyn Nets. Grant was out with right knee soreness. Avdija sat out with a left quad contusion suffered during the first quarter of Wednesday night’s 129-121 victory at the Washington Wizards.
