The Caps finish up a set of back-to-back games and break the seal on their first extended road trip of the season – a four-game journey spread out over the next eight days – when they visit the Penguins in Pittsburgh on Thursday night.

Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Darnell Washington popped up on the injury report Wednesday with a foot injury and did not practice. Washington was not mentioned by head coach Mike Tomlin as part of the injuries coming out of the team’s game against the Indianapolis Colts, but regardless, the injury is something to watch.
