PHILADELPHIA — It was an early-season storyline that stuck in John Tortorella’s craw. Desperately searching for chemistry among his forwards, the Flyers coach wasn’t just placing them in the proverbial blender, but it seemed as if he was actively attempting to use every combination mathematically possible.

The Calgary Flames bolstered their pursuit of a playoff spot by acquiring forwards Morgan Frost and Joel Farabee from the Philadelphia Flyers for a package that includes forward Andrei Kuzmenko, the teams announced Thursday night.

UPDATE: NHL insider Elliotte Friedman reports that the Philadelphia Flyers are trading forwards Morgan Frost and Joel Farabee to the Calgary Flames in exchange for Andrei Kuzmenko and Jakob Pelletier. What else is part of the deal yet though, we still don't know.
