The controller can only swap between one Xbox One or Series X|S console (or a PC using an Xbox Wireless adapter), and one PC, phone, or tablet using Bluetooth.

The ability to decide which buttons do what on your controller should always be entirely up to you, so Microsoft has made sure you remap them however you'd like.
