The 386 area code is getting 14 calls a month and the 321 area code gets at least 11 a month. Quilici says 30 to 40 percent of the robocalls are scams. What about the do not call lists?

That’s due to an existing overlay with the 321 area code, which was set up for the Space Coast but has a small reach into Central Florida. The new area code won’t have an impact on Brevard County.

Starting June 4, anyone getting a new cellphone or landline number in Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties will get a 689 area code.

The gallery has a 212 number. But in her side gig, curating art shows, Littlefield uses her personal cell phone with area code 321 from Florida. She thinks a 212 would get her more business.
