The ability players have to seamlessly transition between Assassin's Creed Shadows' two protagonists means they are well-equipped for any situation.
Whether you caught the clues or bought the subterfuge your choice is the same: do you spare Lady Oichi as Yasuke, or attack her as Naoe?
Assassin's Creed Shadows has been wading through one controversy after another since long before launch, and the most recent one seems to be about one of Yasuke's romance options in-game.
Naoe and Yasuke have individual skill trees that allow you to build out each character to suit your playstyle. Each character is focused on a specific style of play — Naoe the typical, agile assassin and Yasuke the slow but heavy-hitting bruiser — but you can still fine-tune how each plays with the skills you unlock.
You can apply standard (white) Assassin’s Creed Shadows engravings to your gear at the Forge in your Hideout, provided your Forge is at level 2. However, you can only apply superior legendary-tier engravings (gold) once you’ve upgraded the Forge to level three, which requires quite a lot of Assassin’s Creed Shadows Hideout resources.
Gennojo is by far the easiest Ally to romance in Assassin's Creed Shadows because it all takes place during his Ally quest and not after: Start Gennojo's Ally questline by playing through the Swords and Sake quest as Naoe.
Assassin's Creed Shadows is finally here, and though it may not be too different from the previous few games in the series, it does have a bunch of new mechanics that you'll need to learn about to be the best shinobi and/or samurai you can be.
