TORONTO — Carlos Alcaraz pulled out of the Toronto Masters tournament on Monday, a day after Jannik Sinner, Novak Djokovic and Jack Draper withdrew from the hard-court event that begins next week.

Wimbledon champion Jannik Sinner, 24-time Grand Slam title winner Novak Djokovic and No. 5-ranked Jack Draper all have withdrawn from the Masters 1000 tournament in Toronto that starts in a week.

However, Jannik erased the deficit and sealed the deal in straight sets, becoming the first player since 2017 to defeat Djokovic before the final at Wimbledon. The Serb felt good about his All England Club campaign, wishing for more in Cincinnati and New York.
