Republican Gov. Greg Abbott claimed that he had heard that the FBI will search for Texas House Democrats who left the state in protest of proposed new congressional maps.

The Texas House failed to reach a quorum for the second day in a row Tuesday as Democrats who fled remained outside the state in their effort to block the redrawing of the state's congressional map. CBS News White House reporter Olivia Rinaldi has more on the Trump administration's response.

The Democrats are standing firm, even as Republican Gov. Greg Abbott threatened to try to have them expelled and GOP lawmakers voted to issue civil arrest warrants.

The committee asked the DOJ for files related to its investigation of Jeffrey Epstein. It is also looking to question Bill and Hillary Clinton, among several other former government officials.
