Assassin's Creed Shadows has, at long last, arrived, and players have come swarming out of the woodwork on launch day to support it. Not even 24 hours after going live and Ubisoft has already reported that more than a million players had begun Naoe and Yasuke's adventure through feudal Japan.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows, out now, is a very good entry in Ubisoft’s long-running franchise. But it’s also a big, complicated game with a lot of different mechanics, systems, features, and options. And Shadows doesn’t always do a great job of explaining how all of this stuff works.
