Sacco said it was a coach’s decision despite the fact Marchand’s 21 overtime goals are the most in Bruins history and third among active players.

Marchand was among the Bruins on the ice when Senators forward Josh Norris tied the game up with 12 seconds left at 5-5. No. 63 was also the player defending Norris when he got his shot off.
