The U.S. Military Academy has disbanded a dozen West Point cadet clubs centered on ethnicity, gender, race and sexuality in response to the Trump administration's push to eliminate diversity programs throughout government.

The military academy ordered the closure of a dozen clubs for students affiliated with its Diversity, Equity and Inclusion office.

The United States Military Academy at West Point has moved to dismantle 12 cadet organizations, including affinity groups and engineering societies, following President Donald Trump’s executive orders to eliminate diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts across the federal government.
