The United States is facing another week of relentless and hazardous weather, with severe thunderstorms, tornadoes, flooding, and winter storms all threatening different regions of the country. AccuWeather meteorologists are urging residents to stay vigilant and prepared as these dangerous conditions unfold.

A winter storm that blanketed parts of the Midwest and Northeast with heavy snow and ice also unleashed severe weather, including tornadoes and damaging winds, across the South and Southeast on Wednesday.

After hitting California, the same system will move across the country this weekend bringing another threat for heavy snow, flooding rain and significant severe thunderstorms.
