The Tennessee Titans got an unexpected guest when they sat down with top prospect Shedeur Sanders at the East-West Shrine Bowl.

Quarterback Shedeur Sanders, expected to hear his name called early in the 2025 NFL Draft in April, is making the rounds at the East-West Shrine Bowl location but won't play in the college All-Star game.

As Saturday’s practices kicked off the Shrine Bowl week, Sanders was in street clothes with the West team. While it’s not uncommon for top-level prospects to eschew on-field practices, both the Shrine Bowl and Senior Bowl made noise about not allowing that for this year’s editions of the most significant all-star games.

Also in attendance for a portion of the meeting — though unexpected and only via FaceTime — was the quarterback’s father, Deion Sanders. The Titans, who have the first overall pick, met with Sanders for 45 minutes. The meeting also included a surprise FaceTime call from Shedeur’s father, Buffaloes coach Deion Sanders.
