A search in Saticoy spurred a shelter-in-place alert, Santa Paula police made an arrest in a hit-and-run and a Simi fire displaced residents.

A Santa Paula man has been arrested for at least 15 vehicle burglaries throughout Ventura County in a one month period.

The arrest stems from an investigation into multiple thefts across the county, including in Ventura, Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks and Camarillo.
