On a PC, you can stop Microsoft Edge from opening automatically by editing your registry, startup apps, and sign in settings.
Find Microsoft Edge (listed as "msedge"), right-click on it, and choose "Disable" from the context menu. You can also remove traces of Edge from your PC's interface.
If you've got a modern Windows computer, then you likely have had to deal with Microsoft Edge at some point. But why won't Microsoft let users install it?
