Is there an easy way (like via a .Net library) that allows me to get the IP address and subnet mask of the local machine that the application is running on?

The IP address and the subnet mask together create your Web server's address and the default gateway is the address of the device through which all Internet traffic passes.

Remember the Subnet Mask and Default Gateway as these numbers stay the same. For your IP address, you typically only need to change the last block of digits of the IPv4 Address.

Enter the Subnet Mask specified in your router setup in the Subnet mask field of the Internet Properties dialog box. Similarly, enter the Local IP Address of your router in the Default Gateway field.

If I manually set the IP address and subnet mask in the client, it gets ignored and the machine still gets the IP address and subnet mask from the ASA 5505.
