Discord has announced that Activities — a feature for voice channels that allows members to play games or watch content together — will remain free for all Discord users.

Activities are web apps hosted within Discord for users to stream media, play games, and more. Activities are now open to all interested developers via Discord's Embedded App SDK.

In addition to gameplay, connecting one’s Discord to Xbox displays gamertag and game activity. Players can use Discord’s voice chat for multiplayer games also.
