Tonight is Cleveland big man Jarrett Allen’s first game since March 3rd. He missed 10 games with a knee injury, but looks good so far in his return to the court. Head Coach Kenny Atkinson may keep Allen on a minutes restriction, especially given the big lead at halftime.

Max Fried was superb tonight after a bumpy first inning. He’s had quite a journey as a Yankee, being thrust into the ace role following his free agency arrival in New York in 2025 when Gerrit Cole was forced to undergo Tommy John surgery. But he was right up there with the best showings by Yankee Opening Day starters tonight.
