(WALA) - A federal judge on Friday sentenced a Florida man to almost 8½ years in prison for his role in a sophisticated theft-and-fraud operation dubbed a “Felony Lane Gang” scheme by the FBI.

The gang targets cars parked at gyms, parks, or even schools where residents are expected to leave belongings in the car.
