Most modern Windows operating systems will defrag your computer automatically, but you can do it manually if you have Windows 7, 8, 10, or Vista.

Defragmentation is not recommended for SSDs because it can decrease their performance and lifespan. While Optimize and Defragment Drive automatically optimizes SSDs, it does not defragment them.
