Raspberry Pi enthusiasts looking for a quick way to add GPIO pins for prototyping that can be then easily removed once the project is finalised, are sure to be interested in a new PCB quick clip ...
One of the biggest draws of the Raspberry Pi family of single board computers or SBCs is their expandability. That comes via the standard 40-pin GPIO header on the full-sized boards.
The foundation said the new HAT works with all Raspberry Pi boards featuring a 40-pin GPIO header including the Raspberry Pi Zero and Raspberry Pi 4.
The header variant is called the Raspberry Pi Zero WH, which offers a pre-soldered 40-pin GPIO header.
What's more, developers can make use of the Raspberry Pi's extra GPIO pins to connect to other devices, electronics and sensors, opening up the field of possibilities for projects even more.
The Raspberry Pi board has a 40-pin GPIO header on it that needs through-hole soldering, along with bits like the Ethernet and USB ports.
