Google is partnering with the Ubuntu Desktop team at Canonical to bring Linux support to its open source UI framework Flutter.

Flutter arrives with a more stable release for web app development and a beta for desktop app development.

The latest Flutter SDK update, version 2.10, makes it just as easy to make apps for Windows as it is for Android and iOS.

Google is announcing a number of new features for Flutter, which hit its 3.0 milestone at last year's I/O and is now launching version 3.10.

With Flutter, app developers will finally be able to create apps for both Android and iOS with one single set of code. This will hopefully cut down on Android fragmentation.
