Houston weather: Warming trend underway after cold mornings
HOUSTON - Temperatures in the Houston area have rebounded following several cold mornings.
KPRC 2’s meteorologist reports that Houston will see chilly temperatures and another round of rain, with a slight coastal flood risk and milder weather expected by next week.
Cooler, drier weather is pausing the region Sunday before a renewed threat of severe storms and heavy rain arrives Monday. Southeast Texas is under a Level 1 risk for both excessive rainfall and severe weather (strong winds/isolated hail) on Monday.

Houston weather: Below 40 wind chills for Tuesday; rain chances this week
It's another cold morning in the Houston-area as wind chills drop to the 30s. Things will warm up just slightly in the afternoon when the sun begins to come out.
Winds are breezy as a cold front continues to move away from Texas, we’ll stay cool in the 40s and even some upper 30s through most of Monday morning.
