CLAYTON, Mo. (AP) — CLAYTON, Mo. (AP) — Enterprise Financial Services Corp. (EFSC) on Monday reported fourth-quarter profit of $48.8 million. The Clayton, Missouri-based bank said it had earnings of $1.28 per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to $1.32 per share.

The Charlotte, North Carolina-based company said it had profit of $1.22 per share. The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 64 cents per share.

BETHESDA, Md. (AP) — BETHESDA, Md. (AP) — AGNC Investment Corp. (AGNC) on Monday reported fourth-quarter earnings of $122 million. On a per-share basis, the Bethesda, Maryland-based company said it had profit of 10 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 37 cents per share.

On a per-share basis, the Spokane, Washington-based company said it had net income of 7 cents. The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was breakeven on a per-share basis.
