At least seven police officers were shot during an hourslong armed standoff after responding to a "suicide in progress" call in San Antonio on Wednesday night, authorities said.

Seven San Antonio police officers responding to a “suicide in progress” call were shot and wounded by a suspect who was later found dead inside an apartment, police said. All of the officers sustained non-life threatening injuries in the Wednesday night shooting,

Seven San Antonio, Texas police officers were shot by a barricaded suspect, the city's police chief said. The suspect was found dead from a gunshot wound.
