General Motors is slowly but steadily making history in the EV sector, and now one of their all-electric trucks holds the world record for the longest drive

The current Guinness World Record for longest EV drive on a single charge is held by Lucid Motors, for a 749-mile journey made by the company’s Air Grand Touring sedan. Lucid grabbed the title from a Mercedes-Benz EQS 450+, which traveled 649 miles.

General Motors has driven a Chevrolet Silverado EV Work Truck more than 1000 miles on a charge on public roads, although they kept speeds low as much as possible.
