An air quality alert covering the entire state of Minnesota continues on Thursday, marring otherwise fairly ideal weather conditions.

The state Department of Environmental Conservation has issued an air quality health advisory for Sunday due to smoke from Canadian wildfires. The smoke is expected to bring elevated levels of fine particulate matter, causing hazy conditions across parts of New York state, according to a news release from the DEC.

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources issued an air quality alert for all of southeast Wisconsin until noon Sunday, Aug. 3.
